This page tracks every incident our monitoring detects within roughly 65 kilometres of Gaza, Palestine — which means suburbs, industrial areas and surrounding districts are included, not just the city centre.

Because most urban incidents — building collapses, factory fires, gas blasts, road and rail accidents — are never published in any official data feed, we find them by reading local media directly, in the local language, and by geocoding those headlines back to the place they name. That is how a report mentioning Gaza ends up on this map instead of being lost in a national average.
