Incident Alerts
Get notified when something significant happens — in the countries and categories you choose. All of it free.
1. Email digest and phone push — watchlists
Choose one or more countries and categories, a minimum severity and how often you want to hear. Alerts arrive as an email digest, a push notification through the free ntfy app, or both — with pause and one-click unsubscribe.
2. Live browser notifications
While the tracker is open in a tab, we can pop a desktop notification the moment a new severe incident appears. Nothing is stored on our servers and you can revoke it any time in your browser.
3. Feeds for power users
Prefer your own tooling? Use the RSS feed — it accepts filters, for example /rss.xml?type=earthquake or /rss.xml?country=PK — or read the JSON endpoint directly.
What counts as severe?
| Extreme | M7+ earthquake, GDACS red alert, mass-casualty event |
|---|---|
| Severe | M6+ earthquake, GDACS orange alert, declared disaster, widely reported incident |
| Moderate | M4.5+ earthquake, active satellite-observed event, multi-source news report |
| Minor | Small local reports and single-source mentions |
No noise
A watchlist sends at most what you chose — hourly, six-hourly or daily — and only when something new matches. Each incident is sent once. No marketing.
